Genesys Data Center:

Instead of maintaining their Own Data Centers in every region, Genesys opted to use AWS to host their services.

Genesys Cloud CX currently offers service in 14 core regions including India with 5 satellite regions and a region specifically for US FedRamp requirements.

When setting up Genesys Cloud CX for a customer, it’s important to decide where their data to be stored.

Make sure to check with the customer about their data policies to see if storing information in the chosen Genesys AWS region is allowed.

You need to select one core region based on the AWS location, following the customer’s data and telecom rules.

When a Genesys Cloud CX organization ID is created, it is assigned to a core region based on its location.

Users are directed to a specific URL that connects to the Amazon data center for that region.

CORE Region will have login URL.
