This is my previous NAS build. I upgraded to a 12700k and no longer need these parts. I ran TrueNAS (previously FreeNAS) for roughly 5 years on this setup with no issues whatsoever. I upgraded the CPU a few years ago from an i3-6320 to this Xeon E3-1240v6. This system was easily handling several systems at once including Plex (with gpu transcoding), Home Assistant, Pi Hole, and whatever random docker containers I was testing at the time. It is an excellent system that works flawlessly.
